Terms and Conditions

The rules for buying, selling, hiring and advertising on MineMarket Zambia.

Last updated: 5 November 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply to everyone who visits or uses MineMarket Zambia ("MineMarket", "we", "us"), including buyers, sellers, service providers and advertisers. By using the site or creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. What MineMarket is — and is not

MineMarket is a private online marketplace that connects people and businesses in Zambia's mining sector. We are not a party to any sale, hire, contract or investment arranged between users.

MineMarket is not a government body or regulator. We do not issue, approve or guarantee mining rights, licences or permits. Any mining right, licence or title advertised on the platform must be independently verified with the Ministry of Mines and Minerals Development, the Mining Cadastre and other relevant authorities before any commitment is made.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other users at risk.

4. Listings and content

Sellers are fully responsible for their listings, including descriptions, photos, videos, prices, condition, hours and ownership. Listings must be truthful, lawful and relate to items or services you are entitled to sell or offer.

All listings are reviewed before publication, and edited listings may return for review. We may reject, edit, hide or remove any listing or request at our discretion, including content that is misleading, duplicated, illegal or unrelated to mining.

By uploading content you grant MineMarket a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform and in promotion of your listing.

5. Mines, minerals and licences

Listings for mines, mining licences and minerals carry higher risk. Buyers must carry out their own due diligence, including title searches, site visits, assays, export permits and compliance checks. MineMarket does not verify mineral grades, quantities, reserves or legal title.

6. Verified badges

A Verified badge means a business has submitted documents that our team reviewed at a point in time. It is not an endorsement or guarantee of the business, its products or its conduct, and badges may be withdrawn at any time.

7. Prices and reference information

Seller prices are set by sellers. Mineral reference prices and articles on the site are indicative and for general information only — they are not financial, legal or investment advice.

8. Enquiries and dealings between users

When you send an enquiry, your contact details are shared with the seller or with our team so they can respond. Any agreement you make with another user is between you and them. Inspect equipment, confirm ownership and use secure payment methods before paying.

9. Prohibited use

You must not post fraudulent or stolen goods, impersonate others, scrape or copy the platform, send spam, upload harmful files, or use the site for any unlawful purpose under the laws of Zambia.

10. Liability

The platform is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, MineMarket is not liable for losses arising from listings, transactions, disputes between users, or temporary unavailability of the site.

11. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time; the date below shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia.
